What kind of services do you offer?

Will insurance pay for these services?

Generally, insurances does pay for most prosthetic and orthotic services, Arimed's staff will work with

your individual insurances. Please click here to see if your insurance is listed.

Do I need a physician's prescription?

Yes, a physician's approval/prescription will ensure proper treatment of your physical condition. An

initial consultation does not require a consultation.

Will my prosthetics be covered?

Each individual insurance plan is different. Arimed's staff will verify your benefit at the time of evaluation.

I'm due for an amputation soon, when do I contact you?

No, it's never too soon. Call or email us pre and/or post operative, to tour or facility, meet our staff, and

discuss some of the different options. Arimed's staff has built strong relationships with area hospitals and

physicians. Arimed's staff will come meet you in the hospital to work hand in hand with your physician and

therapist to maximize your outcome.

How soon after surgery am I ready to be fit for my prosthetics?

Your physician makes the decision. Evaluation and consultation are always done free of charge, and do not

require a prescription. We do require a prescription from a medical doctor to begin fabricating a prosthesis.

Are your practicioners board certified?

Yes, all of our practitioners are board certified. Click here to see the list of our staff and their certifications.

Do I need an appointment for an adjustment for my prosthetic?

It is recommended that you call ahead of time for an appointment so our practitioners can better service you.
